John "The Black Smith" Rehm

John Rehm was part of the first group that decided to put on a convention after the closing of RovaCon had been announced. The first SheVaCon started out with a tri-chair along with Blair Grimm and Dave Davies. SheVaCon was brought to light within a year of its first meeting. Starting out with a 3 group faction wasn't always easy to keep people on track. John took head chair the following year with Blair and Dave sitting as co-chairs to help keep the groups working on schedule, despite the distance between the groups. After the 3rd year, John decided to pass on the gavel but can been seen sitting in the art room conversing with the artists being an artist himself.

Harry "The God Father" Shifflet

Harry Shifflet, also known as the father of SheVa, had wanted for years to put together a convention that was local for Staunton, VA. Harry is the owner of The Dragons Hoard and has been a game dealer for many years traveling up and down the east coast attending conventions. It was at Harry's house that a group of friends used to roleplay. Harry has an amazing gift for spinning a story. It was this group of friends and gamers that had started the ground work for building the convention. After year 6 Harry decided that he needed to focus more upon his business, but you can still find him in the dealer's room.

Kevin "Mr. Sinister" Brown

Kevin Brown started out gaming at Harry Shifflet's on the weekends with friends and was at the first impromptu meeting when the group decided late one night at Technicon to start a convention of their own. Kevin served on the board of directors from day 1 and served as Co-chair with Harry Shifflet. In 2002 Kevin had decided after several years of service it was time to take a brake and run amuck through the convention halls. SheVaCon 14 Kevin has once again returned as Chairman, taking up the reins for another fabulous year.

Robert "I am the Real Pirate Roberts" Roberts

Robert Roberts has been a con attendee for many years. You could find him hanging out in the anime room, dealer's room, art room, or in the halls. Along with being an artist he is also an avid costumer with many awards under his belt. Robert started with SheVaCon as the Anime Director and has served on the board of directors since year 1. He served as Co-Chair with Kevin Brown. Robert use to wear many hats as the Con Chair. Along with being the Chair, he is also the facility liaison, secretary, "get it done" task master and over all debonair guy. You could find Robert out and about the convention making sure everyone is having a good time. But as of last year, he has decided to hand the Con Chair hat over in order to spend more time with his daughters, Megan and the twins Emily and Rachel. During the evenings he can be found drumming with his friends, Troy and Wayne.

Troy Adler started going to conventions with friend Harry Shifflet back in 1986 and has been a part of SheVaCon from its conception. Troy has served on the board of directors and as co Art Director since the first meeting and served as Co Chair with Robert Roberts, as well as part of a shared Art Directorship with his wife Gina. You can find Troy hanging out in the art room during the day and playing drums at night with friends Merlin, Robert and Wayne.

Gina C. Adler

Gina has been working with SheVaCon since its birth in 1992. Starting out as it's first Art Director. She now continues in her 17 th year as SheVa's first Chair"Whoa"man, along with her Husband Troy and with her other duties of art director website/Forum construction & maintanance, the scheduling programing team, media guest liaison and fan group liaison/costuming and childrens programing and publicity. When she isn't in the art room you can find her roaming the con taking pictures and having a good time. At home Gina has been back to the drawing table challenging her art, working on costumes for her and her family and spending time with her children.
