| SheVaCon would like to invite Local Businesses, Corporations, and Individuals to become a Sponsor and help provide resources to make this the biggest and best Science Fiction & Fantasy Convention in this area of Virginia. |

| We have a professional staff of volunteers, who devote countless hours to this convention so that our con-goers are able to be entertained, meet their favorite Artist or Writer, and some big name Media guests and Actors. |

| Although we cannot do this alone. We are a 'Not for Profit' Convention. We are also a Charitable Convention as well, offering two scholarships for graduating High School Seniors, and Freshman College Students. Everything we take in, goes directly into the Convention, and into our Scholarships and Charities we support. |

| We rely on the generosity of our community and like-minded individuals to help. There are a few ways in which you can contribute to help us bring a little more joy into the world for a few days out of the year. |

| Whether it's a Media Guest/Actor, Writer, or Artist... we accept sponsorship from Local Businesses, Corporations, Individuals, etc to help us get those guests that people really want to see. Please use the form below if you are interested in sponsoring a Guest. |

Guest Sponsorship |

We have had many questions regarding guests that people have wanted to see. This portion will address those questions. |

Why don't you bring in as many Media Guests as other Cons? |
|
SheVaCon, in the past, has had many great Guests However, most of those Guests do charge an appearance fee. That fee ranges in price in accordance with the Guest and their demand for apperances. In order to help keep our costs low for us and our attendees, our Bi-Law states that we may not pay appearance fees. |

This is where you, your business, etc. come into play. If there is a guest you have been dying to meet, and that guest agrees to make an appearance, you (or your business/group) may pay the appearance fee for that guest to appear at SheVaCon. Possible arrangements can be made, with the guests permission, to make an appearance at your place of business, or possibly have dinner (at your expense) with the guest at the hotel. Just as long as it's all okay with the guest. |

What is included in the appearance fee? |

- Hotel Accomodations (at the convention site)

- Food Expenses for the duration of the convention

| Not all Guests charge all of those fees. However, the majority of them do. This list is just to serve as an example, as we do not know specifics until we actually contact the Guest. |

Can I submit the name of the guest to SheVaCon to see if they will come? |
|
Of course! We're always happy to receive guest requests. You will need to give us the information or guest name as early as possible before the next convention so that we may have time to contact the guest and see if he/she is available for that convention year. Please understand though, that once that guest is at SheVaCon, they will be scheduled for programming and workshops accordingly during the weekend, and they become part of the guest line-up. |

There is an Artist/Writer/Media Guest that lives overseas, would you invite them to SheVaCon? |

Basically what it all boils down to is budget. If you, a business, corporation, individual, etc. - is willing to sponsor this guest and take care of the appearance fee and travel expenses, there is no reason that we wouldn't be able to invite them. And if the Guest's schedule is open for the time period of SheVaCon, great! |

We still need a decent amount of time to actually contact the guest and see if they are available for an appearance though, so do please keep that in mind. |
